Codes Standards and Guidelines for Sustainability and Social Responsibility Training

Course Duration: 2 Days - 8 Hours/day

This 1.5 day workshop provides an introduction to the most recognised international codes, standards and guidelines for sustainability and social responsibility. Specifically, the course will enable participants to understand and apply the requirements of the UN Global Compact, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, UN Framework on Business and Human Rights, ISO 26000 on Social Responsibility and SA 8000. Participants also will be introduced to ISO’s new Annex SL (formerly ISO Guide 83), which sets out a template for the alignment and integration of management system standards.

Pre-Requisite

A general understanding of one or more ISO-type management system standard (e.g. ISO 9001:2008/2015 DIS, ISO 14001:2004/2015 CD, OHSAS 18001:2007/ISO 45001:2016 WD) is recommended, but not essential.
