Software DFMEA ISO 26262:2018 Training

Course Duration: 1 Day - 8 Hours/day

This two-day workshop is designed to help your company conduct software FMEA on a new program and software design program development. Not only will you learn the how to develop a software FMEA, but how to develop a safety plan for software development events to meet ISO 26262 requirements.

Software FMEA analysis is conducted by software engineering develop teams to identify critical failure risk within the program concept which can cause a faults and a failure to meet safety goals. Software analysis is used in critical and safety and non-safety related programs.

Software FMEA analysis is part of ISO 26262, which is the Functional Safety standard that is applied to Safety Related Systems that include electric/electronic systems installed in production passenger vehicles, trucks & busses, and motorcycles.
