ISO 26262:2018 - DFMEA and Diagnostic Analysis Training

Course Duration: 1 Day - 8 Hours/day

This one-day course addresses the use of Design Failure Mode Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) in new product development to ensure a successful launch of new products/processes and mitigate functional safety issues.

The approaches discussed and employed in this course are consistent with ISO 26262, which is the Functional Safety standard that is applied to Safety Related Systems that include electric/electronic systems installed in production passenger vehicles.

Understand how to develop and use FMEDA to identify and address design malfunctions during the product development of hardware to achieve safety goals.
