ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Lead Auditor Training for AI Management Systems

Course Duration: 5 Days

Omnex is in the process of becoming an Exemplar Global Certified TPECS provider for the Exemplar Global AI and associated AU and TL Competency Units. This five-day course has been developed to satisfy the Exemplar Global QM and AU Examination Profiles and, as such, once final approval is received from Exemplar Global, all attendees who successfully pass the exams during this course will achieve a Certificate of Attainment for the following competency units:

· Exemplar Global-AI

· Exemplar Global-AU

· Exemplar Global-TL

This course was developed to cover all requirements of the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard. Group exercises and case studies will be used to develop the required skills. Auditing topics from ISO 19011 such as the auditing process and methodologies, e. g. planning and conducting an audit, writing nonconformity statements, preparing an audit summary and report, and verifying corrective actions are also covered with a focus on ISO/IEC 42001:2023. Auditing case studies to develop skills for identifying nonconformities will be used. Techniques for leading audit teams will also be discussed.

The ISO/IEC 42001 standard has been developed to define the requirements and controls of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Management Systems that addresses the challenges caused by the increased usage of AI in the information technology across all sectors.

Note:: Successful completion of this course will fulfill the training requirement necessary for all Exemplar Global certified TPECS auditors to meet the knowledge requirements of the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard.

Learning Objectives

  • Provide sufficient knowledge and understanding of the various clauses and requirements of the ISO 42001:2023 standard to support the implementation of an Artificial Intelligence Management System.
  • Relate the AI Management System to the organizational products, services, activities and operational processes.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is primarily designed for internal and/or external auditor candidates, but can also be valuable ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Implementation Team Members, external auditors, and anybody that is involved in the use of AI systems as well and all others who would like to develop competency in ISO/IEC 42001:2023 and the auditing process for firs, second and third party auditing.

Each participant will receive a seminar manual and a breakout workbook that includes auditing case studies.

Pre-Requisite

An understanding of of ISO/IEC 42001:2013 or a similar high-level structure management system (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) as well work experience applying management system standards is recommended.
