ISO 56001:2024 Innovation Management Systems Internal Auditor Training

Course Duration: 3 Days

The ISO 56001:2024 Innovation Management System Requirements standard defines an Innovation Management System as “a set of interrelated and interacting elements with the purpose of realizing value – both financial and non-financial.” It further states that “value is realized by systematic and iterative innovation processes to identify opportunities, create and validate concepts, and develop and deploy solutions for users, customers and other interested parties.”

This three-day course introduces the Innovation Management principles while also going all of the requirements for an Innovation Management System from ISO 56001:2024. Armed with this knowledge, attendees will be enabled to implement an Innovation Management System in their own organization. The auditing guidelines of ISO 19011 — including the auditing process approach and methodologies, e. g., planning and conducting an audit, writing nonconformity statements, preparing an audit summary and report, and writing effective nonconformity statements — are also covered. This will prepare attendees to conduct internal audits within their organization against ISO 56001.
