This two-day seminar provides guidance for planning and implementing a Supply Chain Security Management System meeting the intent and conforming to the requirements of SCS 9001, Release 2.

The SCS 9001 Handbook documents Supply Chain Security Management System requirements, controls, and measurements for suppliers of ICT products: hardware, software, and services.

Final Exam

Note: Note: A final pass rate of 80% is required to obtain a certificate that indicates “Successfully Completed.” One retake opportunity will be provided if you do not pass on your initial attempt.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for employees of organizations planning an SCS 9001 program with responsibilities such as leadership, IT security, supply chain security, implementation, product development, and procurement. This course will also benefit members of Accreditation Bodies, Certification Bodies and auditors in preparing to be accredited to audit an SCS 9001 implementation.

Course Materials

Each participant will receive a seminar manual including breakout exercises. Participants must have a properly licensed copy of the SCS 9001 standard for reference during the training

Pre-Requisite

Participants must possess a functional understanding of SCS 9001.

Participants will benefit from a functional understanding of an existing quality or security management system such as ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 27001.

While not a pre-requisite, attendees of this course might find it helpful to attend the TIA QuEST Forum-sponsored Understanding SCS 9001 Requirements course prior to this course in order to gain a full understanding of what is required of the SCSMS.
