Understanding and Auditing the SCS 9001™ Supply Chain Security Management System

Course Duration: 5 Days

This five-day seminar combines the pre-requisite Understanding SCS 9001 Requirements training with SCS 9001 Auditor training in order to cover everything an auditor needs to know in order to audit the SCS 9001 Supply Chain Security Management System standard, Release 2.

The SCS 9001 Handbook documents Supply Chain Security Management System requirements, controls, and measurements for suppliers of ICT products: hardware, software, and services.

Both portions of this class must be successfully completed in order for a certification body auditor to be accredited to perform SCS 9001 audits.

Final Exam

Note: Note: A final pass rate of 80% is required to obtain a certificate that indicates “Successfully Completed.” One retake opportunity will be provided if you do not pass on your initial attempt.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for Certification Body auditors and Accreditation Body Assessors. In addition, certifying organizations implementing SCS 9001 will find the course helpful to its internal auditors. 

Course Materials

Each participant will receive a seminar manual including breakout exercises. Participants must have a properly licensed copy of the SCS 9001 standard for reference during the training.

Pre-Requisite

Participants must possess a functional understanding of SCS 9001 and be experienced in the auditing of existing quality or security management system such as ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 27001.
