Course Duration: 4 Days

This four-day training course is part of the intacs® designed and approved training courses. This training is part of the “Standard Lane” to becoming an intacs® certified Provisional or Competent Assessor for Automotive SPICE®. The intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course must be attended and an exam provided by an independent certification body (VDA-QMC) must be successfully passed before the intacs® certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® course can be attended.

Automotive SPICE® is used to evaluate and improve development processes in the automotive industry. This course will provide detailed model knowledge of the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 Process Assessment which will enable participants to support process improvement for system and software engineering in the organization, as well as support the proper preparation of the people involved in assessments.

Who Should Attend

  • Those who plan on becoming intacs® certified assessors must attend this course and successfully pass the exam before moving on to the intacs® certified Provisional Assessor for Automotive SPICE® course.
  • Quality and Project team members who need to ensure that the requirements of Automotive SPICE® PAM are met within the project.
  • Process Owners and process improvement team members who need to ensure that Automotive SPICE® requirements are covered by the organization’s process landscape.

Course Materials

Each participant will receive a course material designed and developed by intacs®. Course materials include group activities that support and reinforce the training.

The certificate of participant will be issued by Omnex.

The exam is conducted by VDA-QMC.

Note: Omnex does not provide copies of standard(s) during training courses, but clients are encouraged to have their own copy.

Pre-Requisite

  • Recommended work experience of at least 12 months in the development, maintenance or quality assurance of software-based systems.
