intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® v4.0

Course Duration: 4 Days

This four-day training course is part of intacs® designed and approved training courses and is expected to be introduced in November 2024. This training is part of the “Standard Lane” to becoming an intacs® certified Provisional or Competent Assessor for Automotive SPICE ®. The intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course must be attended and an exam provided by an independent certification body (VDA-QMC) must be successfully passed before the intacs® certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® course can be attended. Further training and assessment experience will be required in order to become an intacs® certified Competent Assessor for Automotive SPICE®.

Automotive SPICE® is used to evaluate and improve development processes in the automotive industry. This course deepens the model knowledge of the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 Process Assessment Model (PAM) gained through the intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course which will enable participants to support a certified Competent Assessor as a co-assessor in their own company or at suppliers, or to optimize processes based on assessment results.

  • Interview techniques and how to take notes

  • Various group activities accompany the training

Who Should Attend

  • Those who plan on becoming intacs® certified assessors must attend this course and successfully pass the exam to become an intacs® certified Provisional Assessor for Automotive SPICE®. Further training and assessment experience will be required in order to become an intacs® certified Competent Assessor for Automotive SPICE®.
  • Any others who have attended Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course that want to deepen their knowledge of the PAM.

Course Materials

Each participant will receive a course material designed and developed by intacs. In addition, homework assignments will be made to present during the training. Active participation in the entire training course is the key to success.

The certificate of participant will be issued by Omnex.

The exam is conducted by VDA-QMC.

Note: Omnex does not provide copies of standard(s) during training courses, but clients are encouraged to have their own copy.

Pre-Requisite

  • Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.)
  • The intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course must be completed and the exam successfully passed before the intacs® certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® course can be attended.
