Course Duration: 2 Days - 8 Hours/day

This two-day course is provided to give the attendee a detailed understanding of Hardware SPICE® PRM/PAM.

The Hardware SPICE® PRM/PAM is used to perform conformance assessments of the hardware process capability in the development of automotive systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 33002.

Hardware SPICE® PRM/PAM consists of processes related to electrical or electronic hardware engineering. It can serve as a proposal for a hardware domain plug-in for the Automotive SPICE®. Hardware SPICE® PRM/PAM can also be used stand-alone for the assessment of process capability of hardware development only.

The results of assessment are used for the identification of process improvements, and for identifying risks in the quality of a specific product release as well as supplier selection.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to understand the requirements for PRM/PAM Hardware Engineering Processes and can apply the evaluation methods used in HWE to assess and improve your company’s processes. Integration of Hardware SPICE® PRM/PAM processes with Automotive SPICE® Processes is also covered.
