ISO 14001 2026 Lead Auditor Training & Certification

Course Duration: 5 Days - 8 Hours/day

Omnex is an Exemplar Global–certified TPECS provider for EM, AU, and TL competency units. This interactive five-day course prepares participants to audit Environmental Management Systems (EMS) against ISO 14001:2026 and lead audit teams with confidence.

This course emphasizes how ISO 14001 works in practice, helping participants connect requirements to real organizational risks, environmental impacts, and compliance obligations. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will develop the ability to identify meaningful nonconformities, assess system effectiveness, and add value through the audit process. Additional focus is placed on techniques for effectively leading audit teams.

Auditing principles and practices based on ISO 19011:2018 are integrated throughout, including audit planning, conducting interviews, writing nonconformity statements, and verifying corrective actions.

Successful completion of the course and examinations results in Certificates of Attainment for:

Note: These competency units fulfill the training requirements necessary to become an Exemplar Global-certified ISO 140001:2026 Lead Auditor.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Interpret and apply ISO 14001 requirements using the Harmonized Structure (formerly known as the High Level Structure), risk-based thinking, and continual improvement principles

Pre-Requisite
